I have no idea what is going on with EyeEm but February 2021 has been my best month ever selling 9 photos with one big sale of over $30 for one photo license!

I am thankful and over the moon, more of this please 💐💐💐

EyeEm Earnings February 2021

EyeEm Earnings February 2021

Heyaaaaa, thanks to Copytrack I have found my often selling moss photo on both the French site Francebleu and the British Express with similar content. The topic is a no-brainer since it is a photo of our own VERY mossy lawn in the backyard and what would be more suitable for articles about moss removal? And it’s spring, perfect time of the year to tidy up your garden and get rid of those nasty suckers! I would have NEVER known how often I would sell the photo – not with big earnings but a few cents here and there. Plus a few illegal copies I am fighting. Buy it from Getty Images or EyeEm directly, don’t infringe on any copyright!

But now, without further ado, please have a look at the two articles here:

Ok, this NEVER happened before. Karma seems to like me… a few hours after posting My EyeEm Sales in January 2021, I had two more sales of the same photo!

It only earned me a total of 0.52$ but hey, better than nothing. It definitely was a nice surprise and I am eagerly awaiting Copytrack to find the website that bought and uses it 🙂

So, January 2021 was probably one of my best months I have ever had on EyeEm. Why is that?

I do have my own little theory – that is ONLY a THEORY! Maybe, just maybe many EyeEm users did delete their photos and/Uor accounts (die to the reduced earnings starting February 2021) and therefore we face less competition now. What do you think, would this make sense?

Early post about January earnings because there will probably not be any more earning news coming in the next two days.

EyeEm will change their earning structure in February and we will probably earn less. The three sales I had in January are also quite… “funny”.

“Web License” is a sale directly on EyeEm as far as I know. The amount is ok for a floral photo.

The Partner License from Getty Images is a joke. My husband already said he does not understand why I want our photos to be sold on Getty. And to be honest, I don’t know anymore either…

Better late than never, I did invest a few minutes to set a few goals for my print on demand and stock photo sites – let’s see what I can manage to achieve in 2021:

  • Reach Payment Threshold on Displate ($50)
  • Sell first stock photo via Wirestock (and to write a review about their service!)
  • Sell first piece of furniture on Society6
  • Reach Tier1000 on Amazon Merch (Haha, good joke!)
  • First sale on MiPic, Artpal, FineArtAmerica
  • Win at least two of the three open cases of copyright infringement with my photos via Copytrack (and to write a review about their service!)
