Aren’t these photos lovely? I can’t decide which one to buy first!
Five sales within 24 hours – first time ever. Unfortunately, it did not last very long.
November 21st was the first day with five sales on the same day. This is a wonderful feeling and t was awesome while it lasted. Well, the sad thing is that one item got cancelled and has turned red. It was a postcard for Japan. I am sad that my milestone did not last but hey, better than nothing. And most cancelled orders come back after a few days!
So, let’s see what the other 4 sales were 🙂
The first sale is the first stationary I have sold. Cynthia from Short Hills, NJ has bought 25 sheets and has earned me $1.25 in royalty:

The second sale is a special sale for me. Andrea from Prescott, AZ has bought it. I know her from Mylot, a social website that pays you for participating in discussions. I use it to discuss Zazzle related topics. She has come across my items over there and decided she NEEDS my mouse pad *lol* Very good *evil laughter*

Effective but FREE marketing for your Zazzle shop and products
Chapter 5: Zazzle Itself
What other website would be better for promoting your items than Zazzle itself? The basic goal for a fairly new shop should be to get your shop and your designs noticed. That is why I consider it utterly important to browse around other shops. Maybe you find them while browsing interesting products or while checking potential topics and tags (or rather your “competitors”). If you like a store, why not show that like by clicking the “thumb up” for that store?
Most stores have this feature activated and when you like a store, you are also asked whether you would like to be informed about new products. It is up to you to use this feature or not. I have it activated. When receiving the daily (or weekly/monthly) newsletter, I take a look at the new products and when I like a design, I go there and also click the button on the product page. Sometimes I also leave a comment on a new product to show the Zazzler that I apprechiate his/her work.
Now you might be asking yourself how this will help you.
That’s pretty easy: When you like a shop or item, the Zazzle member will receive an email notifying him/her about it and the chances are always high that you will receive a “like” and/or comment in return! The more people like your shop and your items, the more popular you and your designs will get. Perfect for our goal!
So, why don’t you start with liking my Zazzle shop?
My eBook is available to buy at Smashwords and Amazon here:
A few weeks ago, my dear friend Angela did an interview with me. She was eager to learn about earning money with Zazzle and I gave her my eBook to read. Instead of writing a plain review, she also asked me for an interview.
Here is an excerpt from it:
People who say you can’t make money on the internet need to meet my friend Christine. I met her on Gather.com where she wowed me with her abilities to make money appear from cyberspace. Most recently she has been enjoying success with Zazzle.
I had never heard of Zazzle before until Christine introduced me but now that I’ve tried it I may be hooked. A Zazzle aficionado, she can boast that she’s written the book on it. It’s called Effective but FREE marketing for your Zazzle shop and products, a book I highly recommend for new Zazzlers. Still don’t know what Zazzle is? Let’s ask the expert:
Ok, Christine. Satisfy our curiosity… what is Zazzle? Not many people I know have heard of it yet.
Zazzle is a so-called “print-on-demand” service that sells “personal photo gifts” as they call it. Basically, you can visit Zazzle.com or one of their local versions (Zazzle.co.uk, Zazzle.de, Zazzle.com.au and many more) and buy gifts with photos and graphics on them. These gifts include mouse pads, t-shirts, mugs, pillows, kitchen towels, buttons, belt buckles, dry-erase boards, smartphone cases and so much more…
But then you can also sell those items with YOUR photos and graphics (or text) on them and earn some money! And that is what I am doing for almost a year. I design these gifts, meaning that I add one of my photos to e.g. a mouse pad and then put it into my virtual store. As it is a print-on-demand service, this mouse pad is not printed immediately. I do not have to buy and then resell it. Oh no!
I would like to share the link to Angela’s blog post here for you to check it out:
I have sold another postcard this month.
It really honors me that from all the photos with the very popular Golden Gate Bridge, Seymour from Laguna Woods (California) has purchased a post card with our photo 🙂
Thank you so much for this honor!
