I have been extremely inactive on both Printalloverme (PAOM) and CowCow in over one year and now I would like to make it official: I owe to not add any new designs to these two print-on-demand websites anymore.

The reason is probably pretty understandable: Sales and earnings are not worth it. Period.

While the number of sales on CowCow is still ok (some months I have 20, some months I have 0), the earnings are cents.

On PAOM, I have one sale every few months. Given their really TEDIOUS process of cerating new products, it is simply horrible.

My already designed products will stay online, so will my shops and accounts. I will even try to integrate them into my Polyvore sets where suitable but do not expect new things to arrive.

How are these two sites working for you?

Fellow Zazzlers have a pretty cool and free forum where we all can chat about print on demand websites like Zazzle, Cafepress, Society6, Live Heroes, Redbubble, Cowcow and all others. You can exchange links, get help with problems and learn a lot about promotion and creating products. Please join 🙂

December 2015 has been my BEST month so far with Cafepress! Due to all the Christmas shopping, I had a total of 26 sales and earned about $45. Woohoo! This is a breakthrough, especially since Zazzle had been disappointing during Christmas season 2015 🙂

Since Cafepress’ embedded code is still not working, I will continue to post screenshot of my sales along with links to my profile page where you can take a look at all designs and products:

My Cafepress Sales December 2015

October 2015 has been a surprisingly slow month for me not only on Cafepress. I have no idea why my sales on all sites have decreased drastically although the Christmas shopping months are here. Do you have any idea?

Two items are not available anymore.

August 2015 has been another good month for me on Cafepress with 8 sales 🙂

One product is not available anymore.

July 2015 was a pretty good month on Cafepress for me, I have sold the following 7 products:

I have no idea what happened to this year’s Christmas gift shopping season online, but my sales on all print on demand websites are a huge disappointment so far – on all websites.

No matter whether it’s Zazzle, Cafepress, Society6 or all the others, sales are way behind 2014 and not at all typical for Christmas season. The sales are even lower than the average of all months before. What has happened?

Is it Google’s Panda update? Is it Zazzle’s new zRank feature and the fact that many older products do get removed from the marketplace (the 180 day rule)? Then why does it also affect Cafepress and Society6?

Cafepress has decreased their product variety as they are financially struggling and had sorted out less popular products. Society6 has changed the way customers get search results presented – showing less results than before.

But could these changes really be the only reasons?

I’d love to hear from you how you are doing. Yes, it’s only the middle of November but would this be a “normal” Christmas time, sales would be skyrocketing and now I am trying to get to the cash out limit on Zazzle??? Haven’t been struggling since March!

After my first sale in March 2015, I had two more sales (both t-shirts) in August 2015 on Design By Humans (DBH).

I do not yet sell much on DBH but I really hope I can increase my sales.

My first Sale on #Artflakes

My first sale on Artflakes (Mygall) was a total surprise. For months I had waited for a notification email and never received anything from them so I stopped uploading new works this summer. Then out of a hunch I logged in and checked me “Sales” tab and guess what? I had sold a canvas print back in May!

So I learned that Artflakes does not send you email notifications with your sales, you have to check for sales yourself.

This is the canvas print I have sold in May 2015:

This canvas print in 40 x 60 cm earned me €10.91 and I requested payout immediately (in October). I got the cashout by the end of October.

Thank you, Artflakes 🙂
