New month, new sales (in the previous month). I have sold one photo of my daughter unwrapping Christmas gifts 🙂

It’s part of a whole series under the Christmas tree – cute as a button on her first Christmas.

I must admit I had and still have mixed feelings about uploading her (and her brother’s) photos to EyeEm and to Getty Images. And I currently have two copyright battles going on with websites that stole my kid’s photo without permission. I just hope it’s worth the hassle… I do recommend Copytrack in order to find copyright infringers, let me know if you are interested in more info on their free service 🙂

How to know Christmas Season is coming closer and closer? The thiefs on Amazon are adding more and more Chinese cheap trach knock-offs of our products with our designs on them!

I have just filed the possible biggest ticket to Amazon US in my own history of image theft war ever:

This is abso-fu**ing-lutely un-fu**ing-acceptable!

Update September 29: Did browse Amazon Canada and did you know you can only report 50 ASINs in one form? Guess what, one of my designs was stolen on more than 50 products. Reported them all!

I keep reporting for most of the day on all Amazon country pages. Whack-a-Mole deluxe… They even have the audacity to copy Zazzle’s Christmas Tree Ornaments!

Unbelievable, just f***ing unbelievable. This audacity!

Yes, I have an artist account with theKase.

Yes, I had deleted my images MONTHS ago (last year?) and… drum roll….

theKase is still SELLING my designs on cases and earning money with it while I don’t see one cent!

This is not cool, this is not UNIK!

In case you would like to help me raise awareness, please retweet, heart or comment my tweet:

After almost one year with not many mentionable pirate copies and bootleg products on the Amazon.com Marketplace, Chinese copy cats strike again and this time they are fighting with self-adhesive window stickers and door stickers. They ripped the image off a glass coaster (it says so in the title) and I have reported LOTS of them today. I have an up-to-date collection of them – using Amazon’s Wishlist feature to keep them together so that I can check their status without having to bookmark anything:

Do you search for pirate copies and report them?

Update 2020-06-30: Amazon.com was very fast this time. It took them less than 12 hours to remove all reported copies!

About three years ago I thought it would be wise to open an account and store on Design by Humans to sell my artwork and photos to a broader customer base. And now I must admit it was a mistake. DBH does NOT add watermarks to your works and makes it very easy for copycats to download your images in full resolution!

I am currently reporting copyright infringements like crazy on Sunfrog, where all my DBH pieces can be bought. Without me agreeing to this, without me getting any compensation for it!

So after Sunfrog will have removed my work from their shady website, I will delete everything on Design by Humans to hopefully put an end to this very soon.

I cannot recommend DBH anymore!
